- Offering expertise and scientific inputs to individuals, organizations, institutions, and the government.
Objectives of PAM
The Pediatric Association of Manipur (PAM) aims to improve the health and well-being of children by:
- Promoting ethical and professional standards among members.
- Achieving optimal growth, development, and health in all children.
- Supporting pediatricians by promoting their role and opportunities.
- Advocating for children's causes, including their growth, development, health, rights, and justice.
- Providing a reliable source of information on child health and well-being for the public, governments, and other organizations.
- Providing and promoting education and training for pediatricians.
- Leading, guiding, and supporting research relevant to child health and well-being.
- Organizing conferences, symposia, lectures, and other meetings to disseminate knowledge.
- Promoting pediatric specialties through subspecialty chapters and groups.
- Participating in and appraising child health programs initiated by central and state governments.
